BreAnn's Engagement!

BreAnn and Jon have been dating for 15 months. Jon was born and raised in Salt Lake and went to Brighton High School. They met at a party of mutual friends. He will soon turn 21. He goes to UVSC and will graduate in Dec. with a degree in Construction Management. We are very excited and just love him. We have felt that this was coming we just didn't know when. Finally on Saturday (January 19th) they went sleding and then drove to "Gateway" a outdoor shopping center in downtown Salt Lake. They saw "26 Dresses" and then took a horse carriage ride through downtown. From there they had dinner at the "Roof" and then went for a walk through Temple Square. She said the whole night she kept thinking okay he will do it now and finally when they were in front of the "Mermaid" fountain (I don't know which one it is but all the girls here call it that). Anyway when they were standing there he gave her a hug and she had her head on his chest and his heart was beat so hard and fast that she then knew the time was now and sure enough he pulled out the diamond and asked her and she said yes! They are planning to get married in the Salt Lake Temple and their reception will be at a reception center close to our house called Magnolia Grove.
